Call for Papers

We invite experts, practitioners, and scholars in the field of sign language interpretation and translation to submit proposals for presentations that align with the conference theme. The call for papers is open to individuals who can offer valuable insights, innovative strategies, and practical solutions to help our professions evolve and thrive. Suggested topics for presentation proposals include, but are not limited to:

 

- Best practices in sign language interpretation and translation

- Emerging trends and technologies in our field

- Enhancing cultural competence in interpretation and translation

- Addressing ethical and professional dilemmas

- Bridging the gap between education and practice

- Strengthening collaboration within the industry

 

Submission Guidelines:

Please submit the presentation proposal online form by 8th December 2023. Your proposal should include a title, a 300-word abstract, your contact information, and a brief bio. You can complete your submission form HERE  Please complete all sections of the form. For submissions in sign language (BSL/ISL) please ensure any links to videos or files uploaded are working correctly before uploading. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel of experts and selected presenters will be notified by 20th December 2023.
